Biz-Ability provides support and training to include:

Biz-Ability is a new initiative for User Led Organisations (ULOs) and individuals, designed to be a springboard for new enterprises and groups to deliver much-needed community services - including those services under threat from public service budget cuts.
Launched by the Norfolk Coalition of Disabled People (NCODP) in January 2011, Biz-Ability supports disabled people, older people and carers to develop the skills and networks essential to successfully setting up and sustaining businesses, social enterprises and peer support groups.
Biz-ability offers a range of services including workshops and ‘one to one’ business support delivered by a range of local trainers and advisors.
Following the series of workshops held so far, one participant said -
"I think this.....has made it easy for the disabled community to access knowledge and skill from a sector that is normally not involved with us....."
In enabling the development of groups and businesses to deliver a range of accessible services, Biz-ability seeks to promote greater choice and opportunities for local communities, disabled people, older people and carers.
Biz-Ability received ‘seed’ funding from Norfolk County Council. Further funding is being sought from a range of sources to continue and expand the service into the future.
